There is no better way to documentate and celebrate 25 years of a gallery's activities as with good exhibitions. So each
of the coming exhibitions in 2004 will reflect our jubilee. But the first show will not start in the gallery in Muenster. Invited by the Roger Raveelmuseum in Machelen, Belgium, Heiner Hachmeister curates an exhibition
called Onbegrensd / Unlimited, beginning on April 17. Supported by loans from some museums and private collections, it represents nearly the whole program of the Hachmeister Galerie. Nine cabinets
illustrate different subjects like "Spirituality", "Meditation", "Metamorphosis" etc. with works from Josef Albers, Karel Dierickx, James Ensor, Jean Fautrier, Carsten Gliese, Willem de
Kooning, Le Corbusier, Giorgio Morandi, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Seitz, Louis Soutter, Mark Tobey, Adolf Wölfli and Khmer sculptures. |
